This web site serves some of the communication needs of the Michigan Chapter of the Society of American Foresters. Chapter business and activities will be posted on these pages. Additionally, this web site can serve as a launching point to explore forestry and forestry organizations. See "Forestry Links" for a partial list of resources on the World Wide Web. The calendar under "Conferences and Conventions" does not need to be restricted to official SAF events. Any meetings relevant to the forestry and natural resources community can be posted by contacting Bill Cook. There are two Auto Tours that can be previewed, one in the Upper Peninsula and another in the Lower Peninsula. The "Michigan Forester" is a publication of the Michigan Chapter of the SAF. Portions of the newsletter will be regularly posted on this site. Development of this web site will evolve as comments are made from our readership and membership. Please don't hesitate to offer yours!
