RESEARCH INTERESTS:

The development and incorporation of tissue culture and molecular genetics techniques into breeding systems.  Current projects include studies on biochemical factors that affect root morphogenesis in conifers, the development of gene vector systems for woody plants using Agrobacterium tumefaciens, and restriction analysis of organelle DNA in Picea to study organelle inheritance.
