A Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates Program in China

 


Requirements and Opportunities

In addition to actively participate in all the activities, students will be required to write daily journals, lead group discussions, and interact with others. Also, they will be encouraged to publish their research papers. In case they need additional data to make their papers publishable, arrangements will be made for the most promising ones to return to China with partial waiver of their expenses.

Each participant is required to complete a research paper, which should be at least 20 pages long, with no less than 12 pages of written text (double spaced). The other pages will consist of tables, figures, etc. The paper will be expected to contain the following sections: abstract, introduction, data and methods, results, discussion and conclusions, literature cited, and appendices (if necessary). High-quality papers will be recommended for conference presentation and journal publication.
